Hello! Ni hao!
Finally I have time to post my latest journey to China!
This is the first episode, and I think there would be another four or five more posts about my holiday. To make it easier, I will use #365toChina. Furthermore, I will share places to go in each cities, how to get there, where I stayed, their signature dishes you have to try, and some photos I could take through DSLR and XiaoYi (my latest camera). I hope you enjoy it. LET'S GO!
On July 14th, I started my trip by flying to Singapore by Singapore Airlines. It's been a long time since the last time I used Singapore Airlines because the cost is a bit more exclusive than other airlines. I was arrived at (about) 01.30 pm., then I had to wait for another flight to Chengdu at 04.30 pm by Silk Air.
A little tip for people who wait for transit and fly with Singapore Airlines or Silk Air! Changi Airport gives you two kinds of vouchers (20SG$ each) to enjoy while waiting, they are a single voucher for any purchasing and another one for special products such as cosmetics, perfumes, and liquors.

How can I get them?
Simply go to the iShop Changi counter and show your passport and boarding pass (or e-ticket) and there you go!
What to eat?
Try Killiney Kopitiam, the oldest cafe in Singapore. They are famous for their signature breakfast menu set. With only 4.5SG$, you will get buttered kaya toast, two soft-boiled eggs, and a cup of any types of coffee. They are available in almost every corners, so do not worry if you missed one!

Finally I arrived at Chengdu at almost 09.30 pm. Basically it takes 4 hours from SGP to Chengdu, but after landing it takes almost 30 minutes to reach the parking lot (what?) and another 30 minutes to line up in immigration and baggage pick-up. Luckily, the local guide (I will introduce you later!) had bought some late-dinner foods for us. Chicken burger, chicken nuggets, and soft drinks. Too bad I didn't take the photos of them. It tasted good, tho. The chicken meat was tender although it was chicken breast.
We reached the hotel at almost 10.30 pm. and had a super short sleeping time at 00.00 am. We only slept for 3 hours and half an hour because we had to be in the airport before six o'clock for another flight to Jiu Zhai Gou.

I know my first day was spent only in airport (cry) and my trip in Chengdu only lasted in less than 6 hours. But later on, I will post tons of things that will amaze you and make you really want to go there! :)))
See you in my next post!
