JEMURAN'S CHRISTMAS CELEBRATION 2016

-

HELLOU!

It's been a very long time (almost a year to be exact lol!) since I updated my life story here. Please receive my apologize! :))
Well, I can say that 2016 is the busiest year I've ever had in my life, so far. I spent the first six months by focusing on my graduation assignment and preparation to go home, then the rest of the year was spent on work and church ministry. Such a busy woman, eh? :P
Well, I won't talk a lot about my daily life in 2016 right now because it will be a super long post, but let me start with the recent event I've attended.

This year, finally I've got a chance to celebrate Christmas Day with the full team of Jemuran Family!
After having a Christmas Service at church, my family and I were on a rush to the place and some of the family members were already there. My aunties and cousins were busy preparing the food, while all my nephews were playing around the house. We had a hugeeee feast (well at least we have it only few times a year!), we joked around, played with the kids, chit-chat, etc. Dressed up in white, we also took a family photo to memorize the day.

For me, Christmas isn't just about lots of food, beautiful clothes, or big presents. Christmas is a perfect moment to be home and celebrate the born of Jesus with family. I remember how it felt to celebrate Christmas Day far far away from home last year. Although I was surrounded by kind people, for me, it had different feeling comparing to when I celebrate it with my real family. I can feel the pure love and warmth surrounded in the place (well, the weather was pretty hot as well! haha.)

On my next posts, I will talk more about my activities in 2016, and some flashbacks about my life in the Netherlands. All I can say is, I'm grateful for a opportunity to live in the Netherlands, but I'm more blessed to be home, especially in this Christmas Day. :)

Here are some documentations of Jemuran's Christmas Celebration, including the recap video by yours truly. Enjoy, and MERRY CHRISTMAS!
